Well according to the latest interview with Todd Holmdahl, all hope for HDMI support with the 360 is lost. I don't understand why Microsoft is making a Hi-Def system without I think with the Xbox 360 acting as an extender, then all copy protection services will be performed by the MCE computer on the network.

My MCE PC is fully updated with service pack 2 and all updates. I called XBOX360 support. After being hung up on twice (thanks Raymond), I found someone who had me change the settings on my Media Player 11. Now I can play music from my MCE HTPC. But the Media Center Extender does not work.

Well, in essence it has, as MCE extender. MCE is the closest thing available to a tivo on the market, and the 360 is a mighty fine extender (I was watching a HD it doesnt have the hardware chips, or the necessary inputs. What would make it the bees knees would be an open video format, ie divx support..... Gaz.
